Job summary

CMTA, a Legence Company, seeks a Construction Site Superintendent to ensure smooth fulfillment post-design phase. The ideal candidate has strong HVAC/mechanical and commercial construction experience, plus excellent communication to coordinate site teams, subs, and owners across multiple sites.

The role involves on-site leadership, safety program administration, scheduling, and coordination with design and engineering teams, with travel to job sites required.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC/mechanical systems and commercial construction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Review project drawings for scope, constructability, and cost savings.
• Assist with pre-construction walkthroughs and subcontractor selection.
• Develop construction schedule and manage subs to hit milestones on schedule.
• Develop project safety binder and review with subcontractors.
• Administer safety program.
• Assist with managing equipment lead times.
• Order any construction related items (dumpsters, storage, etc.).
• Lead construction review meetings.
• Weekly field reports documenting progress for the Owner.
• Assist with the commissioning effort.
• Register applicable equipment for warranties.
• Schedule factory start-ups and ensure start-up sheets are filled out, and submitted as required for warranties.
• Owner training - scheduling, coordination, etc.
• Project punch lists.
• Address project issues and help resolve warranty issues; Develop O&M manuals and as-builts.
