Job summary

ARCO/Murray National Construction seeks a Director of Business Development in Nashville to lead new client acquisition across the United States. You will build trusted relationships with decision makers and expand market opportunities in the design/build construction space.

The role requires a strong sales track record, strategic thinking, and willingness to travel as needed to grow ARCO’s national footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Design, Construction Management or related field.
• 10+ years of technical sales experience in construction or related industries preferred.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
• Create and expand ARCO’s footprint and build top of mind awareness.
• Research key economic factors influencing market activity in niche markets.
• Attend trade shows and associations to stay informed and build client relationships.
• Provide progress updates to ARCO management on new business development activities.
• Help develop and manage the sales plan and coordinate the sales/proposal process.
