Job summary

BFL Construction is seeking a senior business development leader to drive growth across Tucson and Phoenix markets in Arizona. The role focuses on developing tailored growth strategies, nurturing key client relationships, and guiding proposals from opportunity to award.

You will collaborate with operations, estimators, and project teams to ensure client success, expand the company’s market presence, and promote the company values in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in business development within contractor/ construction sectors.
• Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development to expand and grow the project portfolio.
• Participate on the strategic team and aid in creating and executing the company strategy.
• Develop department objectives aligned to the company strategy and empower the team.
• Maintain awareness of market trends to gain competitive advantage and develop bid strategies.
• Lead proposal initiatives and coordinate marketing efforts.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and represent the company at events.
• Oversee preconstruction alignment with clients and projects.
