Job summary

NEFCO Construction Supply LLC in Pittsburgh seeks an experienced Outside Sales professional to develop and manage existing and new customers. You will travel to commercial job sites and contractor offices, maintaining day-to-day relationships, delivering timely service, and driving sales growth across the territory.

You will lead calls with customers, coordinate with inside sales, and participate in product training, audits, and sales planning to meet profitability goals.

Responsibilities

• Daily travel to assigned territory to commercial jobsites and offices
• Represent NEFCO professionally with customers and prospects
• Own day-to-day customer relationships and service
• Make regular sales calls to customers and prospects
• Introduce new products and coordinate with vendor reps
• Assist inside sales during quote/order process
• Develop strong relationships with inside sales team
• Follow up on quotes generated by inside sales
• Consult on large quote opportunities with Sales Management
• Share competitive information to improve quoting
• Identify prospective customers using market data and directories
• Record activities in NEFCO CRM and follow up
• Use catalogs and literature to present to customers
• Understand spec sheets and submittal requirements
• Attend product training and sales meetings
• Assist with delinquent accounts and customer complaints
• Develop and implement sales plans for the territory
• Attend regional reviews of forecasts and activities
• Represent NEFCO professionally at all times
• Flexible scheduling; early start times at jobsites
