Job summary

NEFCO is seeking an outside sales professional in the Pittsburgh area to develop and manage existing and new customers in construction supply. You will drive product sales, build relationships on job sites and contractor offices, and work closely with inside sales and management to hit territory targets.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel daily to commercial construction jobsites and contractor offices.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 1–2 years in construction supply sales preferred.
• Degree preferred, industry experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to assigned territory, including commercial construction jobsites and contractor offices.
• Own customer relationships and day-to-day service; manage deliveries as needed.
• Conduct regular sales calls to customers and prospects in an economical, systematic order.
• Introduce new products and support quotes and orders with inside sales.
• Develop and implement territory sales plans with Regional Manager.
• Maintain and utilize NEFCO CRM to record activities and follow up on opportunities.
• Attend sales meetings and product training sessions as required.
