Job summary

NEFCO is seeking an experienced outside sales professional to develop and manage existing and new customers, selling products and services across the NEFCO portfolio. The role requires daily travel to commercial job sites and contractor offices within the assigned territory.

You will own day-to-day customer relationships, schedule frequent sales calls, and collaborate with Vendor Reps and NEFCO Sales Management on larger opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily in assigned territory to commercial job sites and contractor offices.
• Maintain day-to-day customer relationships and handle special deliveries.
• Make regular sales calls to customers and prospects.
• Introduce new products and coordinate joint calls with vendors and NEFCO Sales Management.
• Assist inside sales during quotes and orders.
• Develop strong working relationship with inside sales team.
• Follow up quickly on quotes generated by inside sales staff.
• Consult with Sales Management on large quote opportunities.
• Share competitive information to support strong quoting activity.
• Identify prospective customers via market data, directories and industry groups.
• Utilize NEFCO CRM to record activities and follow up in a timely manner.
• Utilize catalogs and literature to present to customers.
• Attend sales meetings and product trainings as required.
• Review and approve timecards and PTO for direct reports.
