Job summary

NEFCO Construction Supply LLC is seeking an enthusiastic Outside Sales Representative to develop and manage established and new accounts in the construction supply market. You will call on commercial job sites and contractor offices, driving growth and profitability across your territory.

Daily travel, strong customer service, and the ability to present catalogs and submittal data are essential. You will collaborate with inside sales, manage quotes with urgency, and represent NEFCO

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent technology skills and capability to operate NEFCO’s CRM software and MS Office.
• Goal oriented with integrity and sense of urgency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Organized with good time management.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
• Valid driver’s license; clean driving record.
• Degree preferred; industry experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 1–2 years of construction supply sales experience preferred.
• Previous outside sales experience in construction supply is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily travel in assigned territory to commercial jobsites and contractor offices.
• Owns day-to-day customer relationship and service; handle deliveries as needed.
• Regular sales calls to customers and prospects; introduce new products.
• Assist inside sales during quotes/orders and with the quote process.
• Develop strong working relationships with inside sales and Sales Management.
• Follow up on quotes with urgency and accuracy.
• Confer with Sales Management on large quote opportunities.
• Attend product training and sales meetings; represent NEFCO professionally.
• Assist in resolving customer complaints and delinquent accounts as needed.
• Contribute to sales plans and territory forecasts; report to Regional Manager.
