Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a site-based Construction Coordinator for a project on our Phoenix, Arizona site. You will work with the site construction lead to coordinate field operations, scheduling, daily reporting, quality control, and subcontractor communication.

Responsibilities include overseeing subcontractors, maintaining project records, ensuring drawings are up-to-date, preparing daily and quality reports, and supporting the Project Construction Manager with progress reporting and contract

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of construction or field operations experience.
Associate degree plus six (6) years of construction or field operations experience.
Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor’s degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

Coordinate overall field operations with the site construction lead, including scheduling and reporting.
Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety and quality aligned with drawings.
Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for project records.
Ensure contractors use latest design revision and manage progress payments with client approval.
Maintain on-site records and communicate with project management clearly.
