Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Construction Project Coordinator for a Phoenix-based site to support field operations, coordinate with the site construction lead, and ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and schedules.

You will oversee subcontractors, prepare daily and quality reports, and maintain project records while adhering to safety standards and company processes. This full-time role requires strong organization and communication in a fast-paced field environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor’s degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall field operations with the site construction lead, including project scheduling, daily reporting, quality control, adherence to drawings and specs, and subcontractor communication.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction activities to ensure safety, quality and alignment with drawings and specifications.
• Ensure work adheres to the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review and approval.
• Take progress photographs and label them for project records.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revision for construction.
• May assist the Project Construction Manager; support key trades/subcontractors as needed.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with management and clients; keep project records per document control standards.
• Follow The Perry Group’s Quality Policy and related instructions to maintain project excellence.
• Pay Range Minimum: $68,370, Pay Range Maximum: $112,840

Education

High school diploma or equivalent + 9 years experience in construction or field operations

Associate degree + 6 years experience in construction or field operations

Bachelor’s degree + 3 years relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline
