Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Construction/Field Operations coordinator for the Phoenix project site in Arizona. You will work with the site construction lead to coordinate field operations, scheduling, daily reporting, quality control, and subcontractor communication.

Responsibilities include overseeing subcontractors, maintaining schedules, preparing Daily Reports and QA reports, ensuring drawings and revisions are current, and assisting the Project Construction Manager with monthly progress reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with nine years of construction or field operations experience.
• Associate degree with six years of construction or field operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with three years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall field operations with the site construction lead, including scheduling, daily reporting, and quality control.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure work safety, quality, and alignment with drawings and specifications.
• Maintain project schedules, escalate delays, and prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports.
• Prepare Monthly Progress Reports and ensure use of the latest design drawing revisions.
• Maintain on-site records per company standards and communicate with management and clients clearly.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (9 years in construction/field ops)

Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related
