Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Project Construction Coordinator to be based at the project site in Phoenix, AZ. You will work with the site construction lead to coordinate field operations, manage scheduling, daily reporting, quality control, and subcontractor communications.

You will oversee subcontractors to ensure safety and quality, track progress against drawings, prepare daily/quality reports, and maintain records in line with CDM Smith standards. Travel to project sites is 100% as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor’s degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall field operations with the site construction lead, including scheduling, daily reporting, quality control and subcontractor communication.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction activities to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings and specifications.
• Maintain project schedule by escalat­ing delays and communicating with the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports; maintain official project records.
• Take progress photographs and label each one for records.
• Assist Project Construction Manager with Monthly Progress Reports.
