Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an Assistant Field Office Manager (FOM) at the Freeport, TX project site. The role provides essential support for jobsite accounting, payroll processing for hourly and salaried staff, and administrative tasks to keep project staff running smoothly.

You will assist in accounts payable/receivable, job cost, change orders, and monthly reporting, while ensuring proper documentation, cost coding, and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or accounting experience; construction accounting experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with jobsite accounts payable/receivable and payroll for hourly and salaried staff.
• Support job cost, change orders, and monthly status reports; ensure chart of accounts accuracy and timely payments.
• Assist Sr. FOM with employee onboarding, insurance, and other personnel tasks; help with project closeout and safety-related reporting.
