Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an Assistant FOM for its Freeport, TX project. The role supports the field office manager with jobsite accounting, payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees, and various administrative tasks essential to project staff.

The candidate will handle accounts payable/receivable, change order accounting, insurance and payroll administration, and assist in preparing monthly job status reports, ensuring proper coding and timely payments on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent accounting experience is preferred.
• Accounting experience in construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage field accounts payable/receivable and support job cost accounting.
• Assist with job status reports and payroll administration for field staff.
• Process invoices from suppliers/subcontractors with proper backup.
