Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an estimator in Utah to perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks, develop OPCCs, and manage cost data for construction projects. You will coordinate with subcontractors, prepare bid information, and assist with schedules and change management.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management and at least 3 years of related experience, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to moderately complex estimating tasks including quantity take-offs and cost research.
• Uses Timberline to prepare OPCCs and design-build estimates.
• Contacts subcontractors for pricing and participates in bid-day activities.
• Develops or assists in development of purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Supports project controls team with scheduling and cost reporting.
