Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced estimator/scheduler in the United States to perform cost estimation, procurement coordination, scheduling, and related project controls for construction projects. You will collaborate with design engineers, field personnel, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost data and timely delivery of services.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related discipline, plus 3 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic to moderately complex estimating tasks including quantity take-offs and cost research.
• Uses Timberline to prepare opinions of probable cost of construction (OPCC) and design-build projects.
• Develops detailed baseline schedules for engineering and construction portions of projects.
• Develops purchase orders, subcontracts, change orders, and applications for payment.
• Prepares project scheduling and financial analyses for routine and non-routine reporting.
