Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an estimator to perform a range of cost estimation activities for diverse construction projects in the United States. The role requires collaboration with project managers, procurement teams and field personnel to develop accurate cost projections.

Responsibilities include quantity take-offs, OPCC development, bid preparation, and support for scheduling and change management. Travel to project sites may be required depending on assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks including quantity take-offs and cost research.
• Prepare OPCCs and design-build estimates using Timberline.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors and vendors on pricing and schedules.
• Develop project schedules, baselines and WBS, with input from project controls.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff and review work.
