Job summary

CDM Smith in the United States is seeking an estimator to perform basic to moderately complex cost estimation tasks. You will use Timberline to prepare OPCCs and support design-build projects, coordinating with project managers and procurement for pricing data.

Required is a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Construction Management with at least 3 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required to support project needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3 years of related estimating experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally.
• Experience with OPCCs and design-build projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks including quantity take-offs and cost research.
• Utilize Timberline to prepare Opinions of Probable Cost of Construction (OPCC).
• Coordinate with project managers and procurement for pricing and bid data.
• Develop project schedules and financial analyses for routine reporting.
