Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an estimator in Idaho to execute cost estimating, quantity take-offs, and OPCC preparation. You will work with project teams to source pricing, support pre-bid activities, and help manage project schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks including quantity take-offs and cost research.
• Prepare Opinions of Probable Cost of Construction (OPCC) using Timberline.
• Coordinate with project managers and suppliers for pricing and submittals.
• Support pre-bid activities and bid-day quotes.
• Assist in project scheduling, cost reporting, and change management.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and ensure QA/QC compliance.
