Job summary

Charlie Mike Recruiting is seeking a Construction Sales Estimator in Wisconsin to generate accurate cost estimates for construction projects and drive sales opportunities.

The role requires reviewing plans, performing quantity take-offs, pricing labor/materials, and collaborating with the sales team to win bids.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in construction estimation with sales experience, proficient in Bluebeam/PlanSwift and CRM tools, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Certifications in construction estimation or sales are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specs to develop detailed cost estimates.
• Perform quantity take-offs and price labor, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare and submit estimates within deadlines.
• Collaborate with Sales to understand client needs.
• Provide technical guidance in client meetings.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Present and explain estimates to clients and assist in negotiating contracts.
• Follow up bids to close sales and gather feedback.
• Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing.
• Coordinate with vendors to confirm scope and cost accuracy.
• Stay informed on market trends and pricing to keep estimates competitive.
• Identify opportunities for value engineering to reduce costs.
