Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an estimator to perform basic to moderately complex cost estimation for construction projects in Montana. You will assist with take-offs, OPCC preparation, and bid activities while coordinating with project managers and procurement teams. Travel may be required for projects and site visits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to perform quantity take-offs and cost research.
• Experience preparing Opinions of Probable Cost (OPCC) for construction projects.
• Ability to review and manage pricing with project managers or procurement teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks and take-offs.
• Research historical data to develop guidelines and cost benchmarks.
• Coordinate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers for current bids.
• Assist in pre-bid activities and bid-day tabulations.
• Support project controls with schedules and cost reporting.
