Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an estimator to perform basic to moderately complex cost estimation tasks across construction projects. You will use Timberline to prepare OPCCs, review historical data, and coordinate with project teams to gather pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.

The role involves pre-bid activities, scheduling support, and developing cost estimates with attention to QA/QC and safety considerations. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform estimating tasks including quantity takeoffs and cost research.
• Prepare OPCCs and design-build cost estimates.
• Coordinate with project team and suppliers for pricing.
• Develop schedules and conduct cost analyses for reporting.
