Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced estimator to join our Montana team on a range of construction projects. You will perform cost analysis, prepare OPCCs, and coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field, with 3 years of relevant experience. Travel up to 10% may be required and attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to moderately complex estimating tasks and quantity take-offs.
• Utilize Timberline to prepare OPCCs for design-build projects.
• Research historical cost data and compile cost guidelines.
• Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors for current pricing.
• Prepare schedules and financial analyses for project reporting.
• Assist with change management and RFI processes.
