Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced Estimator to perform cost estimating on a variety of construction projects. You will conduct quantity takeoffs and prepare material price lists to support OPCC development for design-build efforts.

Utilize Timberline for cost estimation and collaborate with project managers, procurement, and subcontractors to secure current pricing. You will also assist in scheduling and project controls while supporting field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Estimate basic to moderately complex costs and perform quantity takeoffs.
• Prepare OPCCs and assist in design-build projects using Timberline.
• Coordinate with PMs, subcontracts, and procurement for pricing.
• Develop schedules, baselines, and WBS with project controls.
• Support QA/QC, RFI processing, and field administration.
