Mesa Energy Systems, Inc. in Kent, WA is seeking a Billing and Collections Specialist to manage project invoicing for operations and ensure timely payments in coordination with the Credit & Collection Manager.

You will work with project managers, subcontractors, and payroll to assemble invoice packets, monitor AR aging, resolve disputes, and prepare lien releases, while maintaining accuracy and strong communication.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in collections.
• Associate degree or higher in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Comfortable using Word and Excel.
• Good organization and follow-up abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate with Project Managers, track monthly billings and prepare invoices.
• Review construction contracts for billing terms and prepare invoices accordingly.
• Work with subcontractors to obtain necessary documentation and lien releases.
• Assist Payroll in securing certified payroll reports from subcontractors.
• Prepare service invoices including PM contracts, T&M, and quoted work.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and make collection calls.
• Resolve disputes to ensure timely payment and document contacts with customers.
• Prepare construction lien releases and follow up on disputes as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
