Job summary

Scaffold Resource is seeking a Construction Billing & Collections Specialist in Lanham, MD to manage the construction billing cycle from monthly progress billings to lien waivers and collections. • 2–5 years in construction billing, collections, AR.
• 3+ years' collections experience in construction or related fields.
• Experience with construction billing portals (Textura, Coupa, Procore, GCPay).
• Strong understanding of lien waivers, releases, and compliance documentation.
• Intermediate Excel skills (XLOOKUP/SUMIFS).
• Fluent English, with strong written and verbal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly progress billings.
• Maintain schedule of values, change orders, and percent-complete updates.
• Enter billing data in Sage Intacct and Sirius.
• Upload invoices through Textura, Coupa, Procore, Ariba, or portals.
• Track billing approvals, payments, retention releases, and documents.
• Communicate with Project Managers to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Maintain an organized monthly billing calendar and deadlines.
• Support month-end close with billing reconciliations and revenue reporting.
• Monitor AR aging and drive collections.
• Regularly contact customers regarding overdue invoices.
• Negotiate payment terms and ensure lien compliance.
• Prepare collection reports and forecast cash flow.
• Document collection efforts for legal/audit purposes.
