Job summary

The Valcourt Group is seeking a results-oriented Business Development Manager to grow a portfolio of target customers in the construction and waterproofing field. You will educate owners, property managers and engineers about our services and pursue growth opportunities, coordinating with the estimating team to prepare proposals.

You will develop strategic relationships, manage a robust pipeline, participate in events and trade shows, and report on KPI metrics. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3–5 years of experience in construction or waterproofing field.
• Strong account development and opportunity qualification skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, CRM software, and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop strategic relationships with partners and customers.
• Build a strong pipeline of new customers and projects through outreach and prospecting.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to plan events, tradeshows, webinars, and conferences.
• Generate business through outbound lead activity and research potential prospects.
• Qualify inbound leads and coordinate with internal teams to accelerate sales cycles.
• Maintain understanding of service offerings and communicate differentiators to prospects.
• Travel as needed to regional training courses and events.
