Job summary

Latham & Watkins seeks an OGC Analyst – Conflicts Reporting to prepare and analyze standard conflicts reports for incoming attorneys and new client business. The role supports lateral checks and advisory/NDAs, with hybrid in-office options across multiple U.S. offices including Chicago.

Ideal candidates have strong problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills, plus relevant experience in law firms or professional services and proficiency with Intapp Open.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 4+ years of relevant experience may substitute.
• Minimum 3 years of professional interpersonal, problem solving, and multi-project handling skills.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a law firm or professional services firm, preferably.
• At least 2 years with Intapp Open software.

Responsibilities

• Communicate results and missing information from conflict check requests with attorneys and staff.
• Update conflicts databases and perform corporate research to verify information.
• Seek guidance from attorneys or Conflicts staff to evaluate risks (lateral candidates, clients, adverse parties).
• Research corporate entities using electronic databases and public sources.
• Analyze responses concerning potential or actual conflicts and follow up as needed.
• Protect and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information.
