Job summary

Latham & Watkins is seeking an OGC Analyst – Conflicts Reporting to prepare and analyze standard conflicts reports for incoming attorneys and new client business. The role supports advisory, NDA, and transactional checks and can be hybrid with in-office presence in multiple offices.

Located in Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Chicago or Washington D.C., the position requires strong analytical and communication skills and collaboration with the Conflicts team and attorneys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 4+ years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years working in a professional services firm or law firm is preferred.
• Experience with Intapp Open software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicating conflict check results and validating requirements with the requesting attorney or staff.
• Updating conflicts databases and conducting corporate research to verify information.
• Obtaining guidance from attorneys or Conflicts staff to evaluate conflicts (lateral candidate, potential client, etc.).
• Conducting research on corporate entities for conflicts review using various sources.
• Responding to attorneys on potential or actual conflicts.
• Protecting sensitive and proprietary information.
