Job summary

Latham & Watkins seeks an OGC Analyst – Conflicts Reporting to prepare and analyze standard conflicts reports for incoming attorneys and new client business. This role supports a hybrid and in-office work arrangement in multiple offices, including Washington, DC.

You will update databases, perform advisory and transactional checks, and communicate findings to attorneys. A bachelor’s degree and at least four years of relevant experience are required; familiarity with Intapp Open is preferred.

• Professional interpersonal skills to interface with attorneys, management, staff and outside contacts.
• Strong organizational skills to manage time, prioritize and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Communicating conflict check results and validating requirements with requesting attorneys or staff.
• Updating conflicts databases and conducting corporate research to confirm information accuracy.
• Obtaining guidance from attorneys or conflicts staff to evaluate conflicts properly.
• Conducting research on corporate entities using electronic databases, Internet, and print sources.
• Analyzing responses from attorneys regarding potential or actual conflicts.
• Protecting highly sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information.
