Job summary

Latham & Watkins is seeking an OGC Analyst – Conflicts Reporting to prepare and analyze standard conflicts reports for incoming attorneys and new client business. The role supports a hybrid work schedule with in-office presence in Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Chicago, or Washington, D.C.

Responsibilities include communicating results, updating databases, researching entities, and guiding attorneys through conflict evaluations, while protecting highly confidential information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; four years of relevant experience may substitute.
• Three or more years of professional interpersonal skills and problem solving; ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
• Two years of experience in a law firm or professional services firm; familiarity with Intapp Open preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with attorneys and staff regarding conflict check results and requesting missing information.
• Updating conflicts databases and conducting corporate research to verify data accuracy.
• Obtaining guidance from attorneys for proper evaluation of conflicts (lateral candidates, potential clients, etc.).
• Conducting research on corporate entities subject to conflicts review using various sources.
• Analyzing responses and addressing potential or actual conflicts.
• Protecting confidential, privileged, and sensitive information.
