Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Compounding Lab Manager to oversee daily operations in the compounding labs, scale up capabilities, and drive quality and patient safety in line with regulations.

You will supervise lab staff, ensure safe handling of hazardous drugs, and develop SOPs while coordinating with leadership on staffing and initiatives. This role emphasizes training, compliance, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• OH Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
• Familiar with USP 795 and 800.
• Experience in a compounding pharmacy.
• Familiarity with Computer Rx pharmacy software.
• Ability to teach and train pharmacy staff.
• Fluent in pharmacy operating systems.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage compounding labs from setup to cleaning.
• Direct supervision of technicians and lab assistants.
• Support production of compounds and troubleshoot quality issues.
• Ensure safety and compliance with USP 800 and applicable laws.
• Develop training materials and SOPs.
• Coordinate with technician manager on staffing and labor plans.
• Maintain study protocols and data for non-sterile products.
