Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Compounding Lab Manager to lead daily operations in our pharmacology labs, focusing on scale-up of compounding capabilities and patient safety. You will supervise technicians, ensure quality, and oversee SOPs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include developing training materials, maintaining study protocols, coordinating with staff for labor planning, and ensuring compliance with USP <800> and applicable regulations while delivering reliable compounded

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician Certification in OH required.
• Familiar with USP chapters 795 and 800.
• Experience in a compounding pharmacy is required.
• Familiarity with Computer Rx pharmacy software.
• Knowledge of compounding SOPs and pharmacy standards of practice.
• Ability to train and develop staff.
• Fluent in pharmacy operating systems and processes.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage all activities within the compounding labs, from setup through production and to cleaning of equipment and labs.
• Direct supervision of the compounding technicians and lab assistants.
• Support technicians in production of compounds and maintain quality standards.
• Maintain safety and compliance with USP 800 and applicable laws.
• Develop SOPs and oversee training materials for staff.
