Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Compensation Analyst to design, budget, implement, and report on compensation policies to attract, retain and engage colleagues. You will partner with compensation leadership, HR business partners and organizational leaders to align market data with business needs.

The role involves reviewing market data, advising on competitive packages, supporting job hierarchies, and administering bonus and merit plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level degree is required.
• 1 year of compensation experience is required.
• Broad based compensation experience is preferred.
• Accounting or Finance background is beneficial.
• Strong Excel skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Review market data to ensure compensation is competitive in the relevant market.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR stakeholders to craft compensation packages.
• Support job hierarchies and define levels within the organization.
• Administer bonus plans aligned with performance goals.
• Assist in merit administration and other compensation practices.
• Proficiency with HRIS/payroll systems and Excel is required.
