Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Compensation Analyst to design, implement, and report on compensation policies that attract and engage colleagues. You will partner with compensation leadership, HR business partners, and Talent Acquisition to align market data with our compensation strategy.

Responsibilities include reviewing market data, supporting job hierarchies, administering bonus and merit programs, and leveraging HRIS and Excel for complex data analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year of compensation experience.
• Broad based compensation experience preferred.
• Accounting or Finance background acceptable in lieu of compensation experience.
• Strong Excel skills required.
• Work-day experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review market data from salary sources to ensure compensation is competitive.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to offer attractive compensation packages to prospective colleagues.
• Support job hierarchies by defining job levels and roles within a hierarchical structure.
• Administer bonus plans aligned with performance goals and motivate employees.
• Support stakeholders in administering merit and other compensation practices.
• Utilize HRIS/payroll systems and advanced Excel to work with complex spreadsheets.
