Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Compensation Analyst to design, budget, implement, and report on compensation policies. You will work with compensation leadership, HR business partners, and the Talent Acquisition Team to ensure competitive pay and attractive offers.

Responsibilities include analyzing market data, defining job hierarchies, administering bonus and merit programs, and leveraging strong Excel skills and HRIS/payroll systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year of compensation experience.
• Broad based Compensation experience preferred.
• Accounting or Finance background acceptable in lieu of compensation experience.
• Work day experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Review market data from salary sources to ensure competitive compensation.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR partners to inform compensation strategy.
• Support job hierarchies and reward structures within the organization.
• Administer bonus plans aligned with performance goals.
• Support merit and other compensation practices.
