Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Compensation Analyst to design, budget, implement, and report on compensation policies that attract, retain and engage colleagues. The role collaborates with compensation leadership and HR stakeholders to align market data with strategic compensation decisions.

Responsibilities include market data analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and administering bonus and merit programs, with a focus on strong Excel and HRIS/payroll systems skills for effective data handling.

Qualifications

• 1 year of compensation experience
• Broad based Compensation experience
• Accounting or Finance background (in lieu of comp experience)
• Strong Excel skills
• Work day experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Reviewing market data: Analyze data from salary market sources to ensure competitive compensation.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to enable attractive compensation packages.
• Supporting job hierarchies by defining levels and roles within a hierarchy.
• Administering bonus plans aligned with performance goals.
• Administering merit and other compensation practices.
