Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Compensation Analyst to design, budget, implement and report on compensation policies to attract, retain and engage colleagues. This role collaborates with compensation leadership, HR partners and business leaders to translate market data into effective pay programs.

Primary responsibilities include reviewing market data to ensure competitive compensation, partnering with Talent Acquisition to craft attractive offers, supporting job hierarchies, administering bonus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 year of compensation experience.
• Broad based compensation experience preferred.
• Accounting or finance background acceptable.
• Strong Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Review market data from salary sources to ensure competitive compensation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to offer attractive compensation packages.
• Support job hierarchies and define levels within the organization.
• Administer bonus plans aligned with performance goals.
• Support merit and other compensation practices.
• Utilize HRIS/payroll systems and advanced Excel for complex analyses.
