Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Compensation Analyst to design, budget, implement, and report on compensation policies supporting attraction, retention and engagement of colleagues. You will analyze salary market data, collaborate with Talent Acquisition and leaders to craft competitive packages, and support job hierarchies and merit-based programs.

Strong Excel and HRIS/payroll skills are required. The role requires 1 year of compensation experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and offers full-time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level degree required.
• 1 year of compensation experience required.
• Broad based Compensation experience preferred.
• Accounting or Finance background acceptable in lieu of compensation experience.
• Strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Review market data to ensure competitive compensation in the relevant market.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and business stakeholders to offer attractive packages.
• Support job hierarchies by defining levels and roles within a hierarchy.
• Administer bonus plans aligned with performance goals and incentives.
• Support merit and other compensation practices across stakeholders.
