Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Compensation Analyst to design, budget, implement and report on compensation policies that attract and retain colleagues. You will analyze market data, collaborate with Talent Acquisition, and support job hierarchies within a broad compensation framework to ensure competitive pay practices.

You will work with HRIS systems, payroll data, and Excel-based analyses to inform decisions and drive company-wide compensation strategies, including bonus and merit programs

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
1 year of compensation experience.
Broad based compensation experience.
Accounting or Finance background appreciated.
Strong Excel skills and advanced Excel usage.

Responsibilities

Review market data to ensure compensation is competitive in the relevant market.
Collaborate with stakeholders to offer attractive compensation packages.
Support job hierarchies and define levels and roles within a hierarchy.
Administer bonus plans aligned with performance goals.
Support merit and other compensation practices using HRIS data.
