Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Compensation Analyst to design, budget, implement and report on compensation policies. You will collaborate with compensation leadership, HR business partners and stakeholders to align pay with market data and strategic goals.

The role requires strong Excel and HRIS/payroll system knowledge, with a base pay range of $80,953.60–$119,912.00 annually for full-time work. A Bachelor's degree is required, and experience in broad-based compensation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level degree.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Accounting or Finance background (in lieu of compensation experience).
• Workday experience (preferred).
• Broad Based Compensation experience is strong preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review market data from salary sources to ensure competitive compensation in the market.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and business stakeholders to design attractive compensation packages.
• Support job hierarchies by defining levels and roles within a hierarchical structure.
• Administer bonus plans aligned with performance goals and reward employees accordingly.
• Support stakeholders in administering merit and other compensation practices.
