Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in veterinary front desk or receptionist role.
• Experience with veterinary practice management software (Cornerstone/Avimark/ImproMed/eVetPractice/ezyVet preferred).
• Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and vaccination protocols.
• Proficient in appointment scheduling, medical records management, and payment processing.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients and patients, verify records, and confirm appointments.
• Answer multi-line phone system, handle inquiries on scheduling, refills, vaccines, and general info.
• Process payments, post charges, and schedule follow-ups.
• Communicate medical information accurately and compassionately, including sensitive discussions.
• Maintain EMR/PIMS accuracy and keep the reception area organized.
