Job summary

Animal Medical Clinic of Gulf Gate is seeking a skilled veterinary receptionist to join as a full-time or part-time team member. You will be the primary contact for clients and their pets, balancing administrative accuracy with warmth in a clinical setting.

You will manage a multi-line phone system, verify records, and ensure smooth check-in/check-out. Training and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a veterinary receptionist.
• Experience with veterinary practice management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in clients and patients, update medical records, and confirm appointments using practice management software.
• Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, handle scheduling, refills, vaccination records, and general hospital information.
• Process client check-out, including payments, posting charges, and scheduling follow-ups.
• Communicate medical information accurately and compassionately, including end-of-life discussions.
• Maintain accurate EMR and data entry in the PIMS system.
• Coordinate with veterinarians and staff to relay messages and manage patient flow.
• Keep reception area clean and welcoming to ensure a positive client experience.
