Job summary

Cedarhurst Senior Living is seeking a part-time Resident Assistant to provide compassionate personal care, companionship, and support to residents, reporting to the Director of Nursing. You will help maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life within a safe, clean living environment.

In this role, you will work closely with the care team to monitor health, support care plans, and engage residents in daily activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience as a resident assistant in a senior living community or healthcare setting preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web-based platforms, EHR systems, and HR-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs including grooming, hygiene, and nutrition.
• Respond to signals and determine residents' needs proactively.
• Record vital signs and fluid intake as directed.
• Assist with mobility, dining, laundry, and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Encourage participation in activities and help maintain a welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team.
