Cedarhurst of Lincoln is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant to support residents with personal care, companionship, and daily activities. You will work under the Director of Nursing to maintain dignity, independence, and a high quality of life in a compassionate, respectful environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork with the care staff, monitoring health status, following individualized care plans, and promoting safety, cleanliness, and community life.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience as a resident assistant in a senior living community or healthcare setting preferred.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficient with common digital tools including Microsoft Office and EHR systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care needs, grooming, hygiene, dressing, nutrition.
• Respond to signals and determine residents' needs proactively.
• Record vital signs as directed and monitor health status.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and dining room assistance.
• Encourage participation in activities and foster a supportive community.
