Women's Care is seeking a Patient Access Representative in Orlando, FL. You will greet patients, collect demographics, verify insurance, and handle payments while guiding patients through registration and scheduling. You will work closely with providers and staff to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have exceptional customer service experience with a positive patient experience.
• Strong organizational skills required.

• Ability to use Microsoft Office and learn systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors promptly with a courteous manner.
• Collect demographics and update patient profiles per policy.
• Collect payment or assist with billing while meeting at-time-of-service goals.
• Scan insurance cards/ID into EMR (HIPAA compliant).
• Set up payment plans for patients needing help.
• Explain policies and answer questions clearly.
• Handle high volume calls and patient emails promptly.
• Confirm unconfirmed appointments for the next day.
• Monitor lobby and keep patients updated on delays.
• Assist patients with online registration and forms.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments as needed.
• Verify insurance eligibility and registration before visits.
• Schedule follow-ups at checkout and ensure checkout in eCW.
• Keep lobby front area tidy and presentable; assist with cleaning.
• Demonstrate Women’s Care mission and core values; HIPAA compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
