Job summary

Women’s Care in Winter Park, FL is seeking a Patient Access Representative who will greet patients, capture demographics, verify insurance, collect payments, and ensure accurate scheduling and billing encounters. You’ll be the first touchpoint delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced medical office.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, outstanding communication, and strong organizational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with EMR systems such as eCW.

Responsibilities

• Greet all patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Verify patient demographics and update profiles, ensure accurate scheduling and billing.
• Collect payments and assist with billing concerns.
• Scan insurance cards, IDs, and documents into EMR (HIPAA compliance).
• Set up payment plans per policy.
• Answer high volumes of calls and emails promptly.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments and confirm next day visits.
• Maintain lobby cleanliness and patient flow awareness.
• Comply with HIPAA and company policies.
