South Shore Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care across nursing units. You will transport patients by wheelchair or stretcher, assist with documentation, and serve as an observer for patients needing constant observation to ensure safety.

You will work under licensed personnel, maintain BLS certification, and participate in a culture of safety while collaborating with care teams to provide compassionate, efficient service.

Qualificações

• BLS certification is required or must be obtainable.
• Basic medical terminology knowledge is required to assist patients.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and charting.
• Effective communication and accurate documentation with patients and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in direct patient care under licensed personnel.
• Observe and report patient data/status to the RN.
• Perform receptionist and clerical duties to support unit operations.
• Ensure patient safety and proper documentation of services rendered.
