Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Basic medical terminology and computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately.
• Ability to interact with a wide variety of individuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in direct/non-direct patient care under licensed personnel.
• Observe, obtain and report patient data/status to the RN.
• Respond to acuity and emergent situations as directed by nursing staff.
• Foster a culture of safety and proper hand hygiene.
• Perform receptionist and clerical duties to support unit operations.
• Assist with patient transport and document services rendered.
