Job summary

SCI is seeking an Inside Sales Professional to serve families by providing personalized service, generating revenue for the cemetery, and acting as the primary contact for families. The role emphasizes lead generation, relationship-building, and teamwork with funeral directors and staff.

Responsibilities include prospecting daily, presenting to families, following up on inquiries, and maintaining strong relationships.

Qualifications

Must pass the Company's internal presentation certification within thirty days of hire.
Ability to work evenings and/or weekends every month.
Ability to drive frequently.
Ability to obtain and maintain an insurance license if required by state/province.
Flexible hours with potential for up to 12 hours in a day.
Must treat others with empathy and respect.
Knowledge of computers and some software.
Customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Lead Generation: prospecting 1-2 hours daily; obtain referrals; network with community and families; present to families; track activity.
Build Relationships with Families: respond to inquiries, listen actively, understand family needs, provide value, stay in touch, prepare for appointments, follow up on requests.
Teamwork: coordinate with funeral directors and staff to deliver seamless service; review past contacts to support current needs; share family concerns with SCI team.
