Affinity Health Management in Washington state seeks a Hospice Aide working under the supervision of a registered nurse to meet patients' personal needs and promote comfort. You will report observations, document care, and participate in quality improvement activities to ensure safe, compassionate care for terminally ill patients.

The role emphasizes adherence to care plans, confidentiality, and readiness to assist with transfers, feeding support, and symptom reporting under RN guidance.

Formación

• Completion of a state approved certified nursing assistant course or equivalent training.
• Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC).
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification (hands-on demonstration required).
• Current Food Handlers Permit.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Perform personal care needs as assigned and report unmet tasks to Case Manager.
• Maintain positive communication with patient and family, ensuring confidentiality.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment (foot stools, side rails, O2, etc.).
• Assist with bathing, grooming, oral care, hair care, and changing bed linen as assigned.
• Assist in dressing, undressing, and feeding as instructed.
• Observe skin condition and report changes to RN Case Manager.
• Assist in ambulation and range of motion as directed.
• Provide reminders for self-administered medications as allowed by state regulations.
• Support light housekeeping tasks and laundry as needed.
• Document care provided and observations in EMR.
